Terms and Conditions

Private Coaching

All regular (weekly) private tennis lessons/ shared private lessons are priced and charged on a School term basis. Terms are typically 9-10 weeks. 


Private Coaching & Make-Up Lessons

Anyone can attend your lesson in your place. 1 make-up lesson is allocated per term (not including rain) if 48 hours written notice is given (text or email). Cancellations made without sufficient notice will not receive a make-up lesson. Make-up lessons can be arranged through the Pro Shop or with your coach. If your coach is not available for your make-up lessons we will provide another coach. Make-up lessons can be carried over for one subsequent term, but cannot be used in substitute of a regular weekly booking or deducted from the following terms fees or credited towards other services. In the event your coach is sick/away, we will provide a substitute coach.

Private Lessons & Rain Cancellations

Court playability is at the discretion of the pro shop, in the event that your booking is affected by rain we will send an sms message. If you are unsure of the court playability please contact the pro shop. If a lesson is not completed due to rain, a make up lesson will be issued (Unless the majority -50% or more- of a lesson is completed). Some lessons can be completed indoors at the coaches discretion.


Junior Squads

Squads are on regardless of weather* as we follow a wet weather program that can take place indoors in the event of rain. Missed squads do not qualify for make ups or credits, however  if we have a space in another squad the same level we will try and accommodate. Squad places are non transferable and non refundable. *Please note, with the current redevelopment works at White City Tennis we do not have wet weather provisions. If we have to cancel due to inclement weather you will be notified by text message, otherwise presume the lesson is going ahead. In the event of more than two washouts during a term, an appropriate holiday program session will be offered to impacted players in the following term break.


Term Bookings, Enrolments & Re-enrolments

Re-enrolments for all term lessons (privates and squads) are automatic – you have your spot reserved each term until you cancel. Cancellations must be received before the emailed deadline each term.

Tennis Camp

Court Hire

All court hire bookings are done through the website booking system with the exception of Gift and Credit Vouchers which must be booked through the pro shop 9332 3622. Credit vouchers will be issued for all valid cancellations or washouts. To be eligible for a credit cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your booking. Bookings may also be transferred to another day if done so 48 hours prior. Court playability is at the discretion of the pro shop. If your booking is affected by rain you will receive an sms message from the pro shop, however if you are unsure of the playability please call to check the status of the courts. 

Adult Classes

Adult Classes are booked via the website booking app (If you are unsure of your level you can request a grading lesson with a coach via the pro-shop). If you are unable to attend, please contact the pro shop. Once an adult class is booked it is non-refundable, however you can send someone in your place if they are the correct level for the class.  

Payments

All online bookings and payments are completed through our booking software tennisbiz. Payments are completed through a secure payment gateway and will show up on your bank statement as Payrix. A transaction processing fee is charged by the payment gateway service provider in addition to the White City Tennis fee. We can hold either bank account or credit card details. For a bank account a flat rate of $0.88 is charged per transaction, for credit cards it is $0.33 + 1.87% for Visa/Mastercard and $0.33 + 3.5% for Amex. Term based bookings follow an automatic re-enrolment system. You will receive the re-enrolment email/text notification at the end of each term with the key information, if you do not wish to continue simply notify us before the re-enrolment deadline.
